The Peach House, Pembrokeshire - Luxury Holiday Cottage

The Peach House, our privately owned holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire, overlooks the stunning Walled Garden at Picton Castle. A five minute walk from the entrance to Picton, which is open to the public throughout the year, the house is suitable for six guests. Aside from the glorious 60 acre garden virtually on your doorstep, the beautiful Milford Haven Estuary is a mile down the road. Graham Sutherland was inspired to create a collection of landscapes while staying at Picton, which now form part of the permanent collection at Cardiff Museum. There are some of the UK’s most beautiful beaches within easy driving distance including Newgale and Broad Haven (25 minutes), Marloes and Dale (45 minutes). The beautiful city of St Davids with its stunning 12th century cathedral is also close by as well as many fabulous walks including the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Garden bedrooms share this bathroom.

Downstairs Bedroom

North and west facing bedroom with double (4’ 6”) bed and ensuite bathroom (with Japanese loo)

There is also a Utility Room with washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. In the Boot Room there is an enclosed shower and separate entrance to the garden/drive.

Directions:

The Peach House, Picton Castle, The Rhos, SA62 4AS. Follow brown sign off the A40 (3 miles east of Haverfordwest) sign posted to Picton Castle. Drive past the castle gates into The Rhos and take first left following another brown sign to Picton Castle. Drive past the visitor car park and take the second left. Gravel entrance with The Peach House sign on wall.

Availability:

Changeover days: Fridays and Mondays – arrival from 4.00pm. Departure by 10.00am. Minimum stay: 5 nights

Price:

Five nights: £1,600.00. Seven nights: £1,950.00.

Laundry:

Linen and towels provided.

Dogs:

Bitches only. The house has just been recarpeted and even the most well behaved sometimes have accidents, so although bitches are welcome to stay, I’d prefer it if they stayed in the Boot Room as much as possible. The Boot Room is adjacent to the boiler room and warm in the winter, there are two windows, which can be opened during the summer and a shower for use after muddy walks.
